How in the world did that happen?
Actually, I'm in a good place about her birthday. While I do think my babies are growing up way too fast, I'm ready for that natural progression of them getting older. I've really enjoyed her babyhood, and I'm looking forward to what is happening with her as she becomes a child and not an infant. Does that make sense? Her party is Saturday. Hopefully it will be warm enough to cook out on the grill.
Well it's been nine days since I blogged. Lots of work stuff, but all good, just busy. S-215 is over, and I think it went well. The guys, and two ladies, learned a lot, and Larry came out of the class looking forward to more training.
Aimee had her birthday last week. She's 17, and for the first time, I didn't feel "old" on her birthday. She had asked for a digital video camera, and we found one at the pawn shop for her. We were able to get her a much better one because we went there, than we would have buying new. She's going out with her friends on Thursday to celebrate.
I am doing a lot of training this month. I have IQS training on the 23, and then I go to Pueblo for NFIRs on the 28 and 29th. I already know how to do NFIRs, but I get my certification for going to the class.
Flylady is going well. Well, sort of. I am kind of stuck in the baby steps phase, but it's still better than I was doing. I gave up on a shiny sink for a few days last week, but am doing better this week. I didn't get the dishes done last night, but the sink was shiny. I do actually find it easier to face the day with the sink clean. Speaking of, I need to get off of here so I can put dishes in to soak.
