Recipe: Sweet and Sour Chicken

Sweet and Sour chicken

4

lbs chicken pieces (I use thighs, take the skin off

flour

salt

pepper

oil (for frying)

green peppers

6

stalks celery, chopped finely

medium onion, chopped

1

cup crushed pineapple (undrained)

1

cup ketchup

1/2

cup brown sugar

vinegar (just a splash)

  1. Preheat oven to 350° Chop all vegetables.
  2. Coat chicken pieces with flour, salt and pepper.
  3. Brown on all sides in oil.
  4. Place in a baking pan.
  5. Mix together all remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken in baking pan.
  6. Bake one hour.
